About this eBook

Be very, very careful what you wish for in this ninth book in the Spooksville series New York Times bestselling author Christopher Pike.

While hiking in the woods near Spooksville, Adam and his friends find a cube-shaped stone. It is clear, like a crystal, and seems to shine with colored light. To their surprise, they discover that if they hold it and make a wish for something, the wish will come true!

They call it the Wishing Stone. And they love it. Until they discover that there is a price to be paid for each wish…and that the price can be deadly.

This is my second book to read from this series. Unfortunately i didnt own it. It was back in 2nd year hs.. i always go to the library during lunch time to read this and a good way not to get hungry since i never had enough money to eat both breakfast and lunch daily. Its either bf or lunch so i choose bf since its less time and lunchtime give me more time to read this. . Also if u had watched the series.. this book has more in depth and added story. The tv series gave at least a tenth of the series content maybe less. They also removed the best parts in the tv series.

About the author

Christopher Pike is a bestselling young adult novelist and has published several adult books as well—Sati and The Season of Passage being the most popular. In YA, his Last Vampire series—often called Thirst—is a big favorite among his fans. Pike was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up in Los Angeles. He lives in Santa Barbara, California, with his longtime partner, Abir. Currently, several of Pike’s books are being turned into films, including The Midnight Club, which Netflix released as part of a ten-part series. The Midnight Club also draws from a half dozen of Pike’s earlier works. Presently, The Season of Passage is being adapted as a feature film by Universal Studios while Chain Letter—one of Pike all-time bestselling books—is also being adapted by Hollywood. At the moment, Pike is hard at work on a new YA series.
