About this ebook

What started as an act of compassion and support to inmates in jail as part of Christian faith turned out to be an act that changed two women's lives in a very unexpected way. Judei Dorian, a school teacher, initiated writing to an inmate at the constant persuasion of her pastor. She wrote inmates who advertised for pen-pals in the newspaper. She got replies from several inmates. Theresa O'Day, a school counselor, was very apprehensive at the prospect of writing an inmate, but due to the encouragement of her dear friend, Judei Dorian, she relented. In the course of the three-year correspondence, what Judei and Theresa experienced has touched them and influenced their lives immensely. As the seasons change, so do their feelings. They were led to a roller coaster ride of ups and downs as they found themselves to be involved deeper and deeper into the inmates' lives. Witness the life behind bars and catch a glimpse of prison life through an exchange of letters by these two wonderful women who discovered that they can find love, support, companionship, and hope in the most unlikely of places.
