Napoleon Hill (1883-1970) is one of the founding fathers of the self-motivation movement. His âThink and Grow Richâ is the most widely acclaimed, influential book on success ever published. Hill was a protege of industrialist Andrew Carnegie, an informal adviser to Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt, and author of more than 30 books. He founded âSuccess Unlimitedâ magazine with his long-time collaborator W. Clement Stone. His signal works are âThink and Grow Rich,â âThe Law of Success,â and âSuccess Through a Positive Mental Attitudeâ (with W. Clement Stone). He was a Virginia native.
Ross Cornwell is a South Carolina native, educated at Davidson College and Stanford University. He worked as a journalist and columnist, editor, scriptwriter, and in higher education as an information officer, serving as Executive Assistant to the President at Clemson University.
