Kara
This was the most flat and shallow thing I've ever read. The main character had the least amount of personality. She was just a walking case of anorexia, and while that sort of is what happens to you after years of having the disorder, you still have bits of yourself left for it to filter through, I mean CHRIST she had no feelings outside of food. She didn't even feel distressed about her feelings about food. By not showing any interest in her own novel, Amy glamorizes eating disorders and minimizes them to wanting to lose weight and becoming a weightloss robot, ignoring all the pain and triumph and fear and literally any other emotion one would experience with an eating disorder.
