The first six books were and always have been my favorites since I was a kid but Sita just didn't seem the same to me and the villians of the story were a bit over the top, but it's a continuation of my favorite character Sita after over 10 years so I'm happy. It just didn't live up to the perfection that was 1-6 in the 90's. Don't get me wrong. Mr. Pike is by far my favorite author out there. Most of his books, even the teen novellas are almost enlightening to read but Thirst # 3 just wasnt the same.

I see that they have not yet put in what this book is about so I figured I would share with you guys enjoy =] Alisa has spent the past five thousand years as a vampire, living alone and fighting for survival. The transition between No.2 and No.3 was hard to keep up with. That's the reason for the low rating. But other than that it is a very good book in a very good series.

About the author

Christopher Pike is a bestselling young adult novelist and has published several adult books as well—Sati and The Season of Passage being the most popular. In YA, his Last Vampire series—often called Thirst—is a big favorite among his fans. Pike was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up in Los Angeles. He lives in Santa Barbara, California, with his longtime partner, Abir. Currently, several of Pike’s books are being turned into films and in the fall of 2022, Netflix will be releasing a ten-part series entitled The Midnight Club, based on Pike’s novel of the same name. The Midnight Club also draws from a half dozen of Pike’s earlier works. Presently, The Season of Passage is being adapted as a feature film by Universal Studios while Chain Letter—one of Pike all-time bestselling books—is also being adapted by Hollywood. At the moment, Pike is hard at work on a new YA series.
