This Man Confessed killed it! Thank you Jodi for giving us Jesse Ward. He will always hold a special place in my heart for years to come. We get the ending of This Man series. It was time and even though we get the conclusion, we still have a few hurdles to over come. Like when Ava leaves Jesse the day after their wedding!!! Yes the drama never goes away people. Enough of the spoiler there. Jesse and Ava find their own dynamics within the relationship. Ava is finally showing Jesse that he needs to be less controlling and more willing to trust. Trust that no one will tear them apart. Then one last secret comes out and Ava is done! She is through of the lies and being manipulated by Jesse once and for all. Living separately she is miserable and lets Kate help her to try to move on. Or so she thinks that is what her friend is trying to do. In the last book Ava tried so hard to break Jesse's walls and even put herself through so much pain and torment. That was a painful scene and you would think Jesse would get it by now. He is through with Sarah's lies and kicks her out of The Manor. Now the tables have turned and Ava has a huge secret that she has been keeping from Jesse. It eventually becomes a lie. And once it comes out I really thought these two were over. You really have to read all three books in order as they continue from where the previous book leaves off. As I mentioned before, I have been a fan of this series for years and enjoyed my re-read the last few days. Jesse Ward commanded my heart and he will get yours to if you give him an inch.

Let's start by saying that I get that this book is a little much with all the possessiveness and varying extremes in emotions and the fact that Ava can't have a consistent belief from page to page, but quite honestly I didn't care. I read the book for a specific reason and I got out of it what I needed. It was funny, emotional and dirty when it needed to be. That's why it get's 5 stars. I enjoyed the writing style, I pretty much like the character development and I would certainly read this book again, because simply, I like Jesse Ward. I wish the book had been written in the third person, because I would have liked more of his perspective. If you're into this genre of books, I think you should give it a shot. I think you'd be pleasantly suprised.
