Nejoud Al-Yagout is a Kuwaiti poet whose travels around the world connected her to the larger community of humanity and showed that, beyond our beliefs and cultures, we are all the same. Passionate about books, words, the imagination and explorations of the self, she began writing poetry as a teenager. It is the language of her heart.
