Reading old columns isn't great, but they were old enough to look at what actually happened and fresh enough to matter. Admirably plainspoken.

Thomas L. Friedman is an internationally renowned author, reporter, and columnist-the recipient of three Pulitzer Prizes and the author of several bestselling books, among them From Beirut to Jerusalem, The World Is Flat, and Hot, Flat, and Crowded. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his family.
