Complete waste of your time. Don't read this piece of trash. Having income inequality described to you by a socialist is the equivalent of having a garbage man plan your retirement. These two things are oil and vinegar, completely separate and unrelated.

Thomas Picketty's latest book presents cold, hard facts based on economic data, and these facts speak for themselves. See how a consolidation of wealth actually hinders growth for society as a whole.

Trusting a guy who failed his Series 66 the first time he took it to review a work of major economic analysis makes about as much sense as letting that guy be your investment advisor, right Barry? Piketty has written a work about economics, not a polemic. You're going to need some background in economics to understand some of the more technical arguments but ultimately what Piketty says shouldn't be controversial--there is ample evidence that wealth inequality is growing, not shrinking.. Pilketty is providing analysis, not full fledged policy recommendations. Read it and make up your own mind.
