This book truly is SHOCKINGLY bad IMO. In 1828, books were very expensive - what idiots paid a large sum of money to posses this one? It gives the impression that thinking was a very uncompetitive business at that time. Just because he'd been to Cambridge University, the author thought that it was OK for him to charge people money to ram his piffling opinions about everything and anything down everybody's throats. I don't think that the words, "Maybe I am wrong about this" or "What evidence do I have?" ever occurred to him.
