This is a beautiful novel about letting go of preconceptions and discovering who you're meant to be. It's a heartwarming holiday story of friendship, romance, family, forgiveness, and self-acceptance. I enjoyed the exploration of different cultures and the fresh take on the expectations of Desi parents. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Marissa Stapley is the New York Times bestselling author of Reese’s Book Club pick Lucky, as well as international bestsellers Mating for Life, Things to Do When It’s Raining, and The Last Resort.
