 Cheryl Norman was born in Melbourne, Australia. She lives in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Eltham, with her retired husband. As well as being a busy mother of two children and five grandchildren, she can still find the time to indulge her passion of writing and reading fantasy or science fiction. 

In 2002, Cheryl received her Diploma of Professional Children's Writing from the Australian College of Journalism. Since then, she has had two short stories published on the Internet as well as being shortlisted for the Antipodean SF Award for 2003.
