If you feel like the last few books were trending away from your interest, I would recommend skipping this one. The story has such great potential, but fails to progress much of anything in these chapters. I've loved every part of the series so far, but this book genuinely felt like a waste. Over half of this book is just more talk about collecting food and cooking. The land mine aspect of the series is long gone. With such great characters and setting, I was anticipating the story to finally progress back to what drew me at the start.
