(jg) Tom Stierwell, a twenty-two year old office falls in love with the beautiful daughter of Captain Kearse, an out-of-control commanding officer on the Coast Guards Albatrosss, a unique mystery ship operating in the Eastern Mediterranean, six-thousand miles from the USA. The location is on land and ashore in tumultuous Greece where the Colossus of Rhodes once stood, where religion and greed are a deadly reality on an island of Muslim minarets and the rebuilt castle of Christian crusaders.

TOM SWICEGOODgrew up on South Beach, Key West, Florida; graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy and the University of Florida; served on a U. S. Coast Guard icebreaker in Alaska and a Coast Guard Voice of America ship in the Mediterranean; hitch-hiked military aircraft around the world; spent a month in China; was stoned in Tripoli, Libya; rafted the Colorado River; photographed penguins in Antarctica; and wrote and directed exploitation movies in Hollywood. His other books include Our God Too!, The Intoxicated Taxi, Von Cosel, and The Submariner’s Son. Tom resides in Edgewater, Florida.
