About this ebook

Even hundreds of miles from Baltimore . . .

Deadly trouble still finds John Tyler.

Thanks to his daughter’s encouragement, retired soldier John Tyler attends a classic car convention in another state. Lexi tags along for moral and technical support.

When Tyler is jailed for a bogus vehicular violation, the weekend gets off to a terrible start.

Then, his captors learn who he is . . . and what he’s done.

After he deals with the men sent to kill him, Tyler tries to figure out what’s going on and who wants him dead. He learns some shocking truths about the town where he’s imprisoned and its power brokers. They’ll do anything to keep their corrupt business going.

And Tyler will do anything to stop them and keep his daughter safe.

It’s a collision course, and despite his captors’ best efforts, John Tyler is in the driver’s seat. Can he keep Lexi safe and take down a criminal organization before he becomes another body in the town graveyard?

The Low Road is the action-packed sixth novel in the John Tyler military thriller series. Each book is a standalone story.

This being a John Tyler thriller there are certain expectations that Tom Fowler has created for his character. Firstly, someone somewhere will do the wrong thing. Secondly, they will likely do that near, or in this case, to Tyler himself. Which all leads to the third expectation, and the best thing about these books, that Tyler will not be able to walk away. A broken tail light is just the start for Tyler this time around. I won’t give away plot details but Tom Fowler puts his man through a lot in this one but Tyler has never been afraid of hard work or a little discomfort. This is as good as any of this series and that’s saying a lot as they’ve all been excellent. You get great characters, storylines full of twists and turns, tension, action all wrapped up in a fast paced novel. This author never lets his readers down and with The Low Road I’m sure he’ll have another sure fire hit.

The Low Road, #6 - Intense. Interesting. Good pace. Good action. Good planning throughout the story lines. Good characters making sure the baddies pay their dues. Well written and entertaining, and a one sitting read. Never mess with a classic car. Source: ARC. 5* The John Tyler Series: Midnight Drive, prequel: Interesting characters and dialogue. Good storylines but average. 3* Four on the Floor, John Tyler Series, #4 - Good characters. Good dialogues. Well written and thought out story lines. No vulgar language but plenty of realistic, fast-paced action. 4* Forced Induction, #5 - One of my favorite series. The stories keep getting better with each new addition. FI keeps the pace fast and steady with Lexi helping John in his quest to find stolen military weapons. The characters, both old and new, blend well with the new and continuous story lines. There's a lot of blood but it is all for a good cause. Ole Uncle George is back to make things bad for John. Hard to put down but well

Wow, what can I say about my favorite author other than he still keeps hitting them out of the ballpark. Each story in this series keeps getting better and better. With a lot of action and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat, and trying to turn the pages as fast as you can so you can see what is happening next. And another five stars for the Yeti!! Everyone needs to read this series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
