In a time of superstition and magic, a young apprentice hunter, Robyn Goodfellowe, journeys to Ireland with her father whose job it is to wipe out the last wolf pack. Robyn, unable to hunt with her father and sick of being confined, sneaks out to explore the forbidden lands outside the city walls. There, Robyn befriends a free-spirited girl, Mebh, a member of a mysterious tribe of WOLFWALKERS rumored to have the ability to transform into wolves by night.
After learning that WOLFWALKERS aren't to be feared, Robyn decides she must protect Mebh and her pack from the hunters. As the girls search for Mebh’s missing mother, Robyn uncovers a secret that draws her further into the enchanted world of the WOLFWALKERS and risks turning her into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy.

This book is amazing!! I only give 4 stars because some words were missing in some senses like the movie and the book feels kinda rushed but yet great noval

a fantastic introduction and retelling of the story with a bit of extra insight on what happened before the film. if you can't afford a membership to watch the film but would still like to support cartoon saloon (and learn a little extra lore), this is the way to go!

Its an amazing book i really recommend it for people that like fairytale and wolfs and its like they took the movie and put it into a book

About the author
Samuel Sattin is a writer and coffee addict. He is the words behind the Glint trilogy, Bezkamp, Legend, and The Silent End. His work has appeared or been featured in the Nib, the Atlantic, NPR, and elsewhere. He holds an MFA in Comics from California College of the Arts and has a creative writing MFA from Mills College. Residing in Oakland, California, he sometimes teaches at the California College of the Arts and lives with his wife/assassin and two cats.
