A clear and concise detailed description of the construction, pretty good drawings, covers most every piece of equipment needed for the small beekeeper to the largest. This book has saved me hundreds of dollars so far and will save me thousands in the years to come. He tells why , not just how, and writes with a clear style and wry sense of humor. He also gives credit where credit is due, citing things he learned from others, just as we are learning from him. I highly recommend.

This not just a construction manual, it gives alot of additional "why it is done this way" information which is applicable to bee keeping. It is a great reference to construction methods and proper us of tools. Safety is included a well. Lots of advice to prevent wasted time and materials. (Sounds like he made the mistakes for us) so the cost of the book is well worth it. Highly recommended if you are completely hands on like me.
