About this eBook

Total Control is a breathtaking thrill-ride on a roller-coaster of non-stop action and suspense from David Baldacci, one of the world's favourite storytellers.

Rising star.

Jason Archer is a young executive at a world-leading technology conglomerate. Determined to give his wife and daughter the best of everything, he has entered into a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Left behind.

The grieving Sidney soon learns the job interview Jason was flying to never existed. In the wake of his disappearance, she must sort out Jason’s truths from his lies.

Race for the truth.

A suspicious air-crash investigation team, a tenacious veteran FBI agent and the dangling threads of a sinister plot lead all involved to beg the question: what really happened to Jason Archer?

Sidney’s investigation plunges her into a conspiracy of violence as she’s faced with a trail of dead bodies and shocking, exposed secrets.

When I buy an eBook, I expect a proper book, made with just as much care as the paper version. This book looks like it has been hastily scanned and OCR'ed without editorial oversight. All quotation marks are missing, which makes reading dialogue a pain in the back side. Also all apostrophes missing (so "we'll" becomes "well"), other punctuation marks like : and occasionally a word spelt wrong. It's a shame Google sells books this way!

A little slow for me to pick up and get going and a fairly formulaic ending, but solid nonetheless.
