This author puts you squarely back into history with the sights, sounds and scents of the times.

Bravo! And may this great family continue to flourish and grow.

I particularly enjoyed the era this story is set on, where women are starting to come forward and fight for their rights, industry is about to be born and still honor is best fought for in the old ways.

I don’t give many 5-Star reviews because I’m just that picky. This book gets one because it is so well-written.

Even when you think you can't be surprised, there is a twist, a turn, a scandal that will.

The conversations at the gatherings are so natural and flowing that I feel like I am actually there.

I have to admit that I tried to figure out just how the story would play out but my guesses were not even close. Just a great read.

I enjoyed this story immensely, especially the process of the characters maturing and evolving into the solid relationship with each other they both deserve.

This was so good. A great addition to this series about a great family.

Veil of Honor is another home run for author Tracy Cooper-Posey; this is Book 6 in her Scandalous Scions Series. Again we are discovering secrets from those in the 3 families this series involves. It was easy to be bring dishonor not only to oneself but through you, your family as well, during this period of history. We have a member of the family who has kept secret a terrible moment of weakness that could bring her and her family down with shame and scandal. We also have a young man who learns of this occurrence and makes her, as we say now, an honest woman. Belonging to these families they have known each other long, but it's this shame that shows them the true feelings they have for each other. But it isn't as easy as that, for they will travel the ups and downs of their actions both from within and out of the family and they will suffer for their those actions. But amongst their time together they learn to love but still hesitate to fully trust. The story is very emotional and, for me anyway, once I began reading I didn't put it down till it was finished. If you haven't started this series, start right now and you will fall in love with this very unconventional family during a time when rules, etiquette and unwritten rules had to be followed or the lack of them would bring scandal and ruin to an entire family. Each book can be read on it's own, but to see the whole picture it's better to read the series. Have a go at it and be enthralled with the time and the stories.

About the author

Tracy Cooper-Posey is a #1 Best Selling Author. She writes romantic suspense, historical, paranormal and science fiction romance. She has published over 120 novels since 1999, been nominated for five CAPAs including Favourite Author, and won the Emma Darcy Award.

She turned to indie publishing in 2011. Her indie titles have been nominated four times for Book Of The Year. Tracy won the award in 2012, and a SFR Galaxy Award in 2016 for “Most Intriguing Philosophical/Social Science Questions in Galaxybuilding” She has been a national magazine editor and for a decade she taught romance writing at MacEwan University.
