Thomas Edwin Berry, PhD. is a retired professor of Russian language and literature who lectures for the Odyssey Program of Johns Hopkins University, for the Smithsonian Institution and the Russian Cultural Society in Washington, DC. He is the author of eleven academic books, including Spiritualism in Tsarist Literature and Society and The Memoirs of the Pages of the Tsars, published by Gilbert's Royal Books. He has recently published, Ships Ahoy, Learning to Lie, and My Insanity.
He studied Hindi at the University of Chicago and his work with the Ford Foundation led to working with Cerchem Ltd™ in India. A world traveler, his visits to China resulted in the book Information Peking (Beijing) for Welt International™.
He has lectured in the Baltic and Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Java, Alaska, and the Weddell Seas for organizations and on cruise ships. Aside from his academic work, Dr. Berry sings Russian, English and French folk songs and tap dances with several groups in the Washington, DC area.
He has also authored eight fiction novels as well: Nostradamus' Warning, Dostoevsky Be Damned, Inverted Love, Tamara's Story of Love and Intrigue at the Russian Court, Holocaust Now, For the Tsar and the Raj, The Psychic Vampire, and Euthanasia.
