This Christian YA "Pretty In Pink meets The Exorcist" is a delight to read. Although some parts were weird, the entire series is a must-read for those who like quasi-horror supernatural high school dramas. It was like eating a tasty chilli meal then having a pleasing cup of hot cocoa after. I grew with the book and lived and breathed the scenery. Did I become smarter? No. Did I improve my language? Not necessarily. Did I enjoy this piece and wish it didn't end? Absolutely.
