I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book in the series. In it we meet Amy's ex Flora, who is a defence lawyer, and believes that her new client is innocent and asks for Amy's help to prove it. Without knowing what the case is Amy says that she and Ambrose will help. Then she learns that it's a case that Ambrose normally stays away from because of how his sister died. But because Amy has said that they will look into it, he does, because he'll do anything for Amy. There is also the normal family drama as her mum and dad are still around, and she isn't used to it and doesnt know how to take it 😄 Laura and Arizona have written a great book. The epilogue is very intriguing and has left me very excited for the next instalment 😍🥰

I really enjoy this series. Seeing how far Amy has come since she started working with the PPD, meeting Ambrose, her friends and even seeing her relationship with her sister Topaz develop, has been very enjoyable. Amy is tenacious, and once she gets ahold of something, she has to see it through to the end, no matter what it brings to the surface. I enjoy the characters in this series, the books are very well written and interesting. This story was a challenge for all involved, in different ways. While it affected Ambrose the most, it also helped him start to heal. I loved the twists and turns in this book. I can't wait to read the next book coming out!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was so much fun! I absolutely loved Amy as a character, and how she tried her best to look out for Ambrose. I liked how Amy, Ambrose, and Flora were very professional with each other despite Flora being Amy's ex, which seems to be very rare. As the for the mystery, it was a bit heavy, but I still enjoyed all the twists and turns. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next one (especially after that teaser!). I received a free copy of this book.
