About the author

Barry Stone is a writer and travel photographer and a graduate of the Australian College of Journalism. His photographs have been widely exhibited. Barry has been a long-time contributor of feature stories and travel pieces to some of Australia's largest daily newspapers, and was a contributing author to the 2006 ABC Books publication Historica: 1000 Years of Our Lives and Times.
