finalmente ho potuto leggere la famigerata prima versione. Condivido le rimostranze di Foscolo nei confronti delle aggiunte di Sassoli, per quanto sia avvincente l'espediente letterario di sostituire il narratore-compilatore. Un ringraziamento a chi ha scansionato l'opera, rendendola fruibile.
