Ratings and reviews

The characters don't sound or feel at all like the characters from the show. Especially the original TNG characters. I liked the events in the story, but the prose didn't flow, the dialogue was stilted, and scenes rushed. I felt like far too often the author was literally telling us what a great man Picard was and listing off his good qualities rather than actually showing us with situations. Have always been a big Star Trek fan, and I'm by no means a literary expert, this is all just a personal opinion.

Enjoyed it immensely. I have a much deeper understanding of the backstory and characters for Star Trek: Picard. I strongly encourage any fan of the show to read this book!

I wasn't able to finish this book. The story wad good, but it was ruined by the huge amount of profanity.
