On February 8, 2010 pastor and theologian Jeremy Bouma did something he thought he'd never do: He said "Goodbye, Emergent"! But then something happened: He came to realize the Emerging Church is a form of Christianity other-than the versions that currently exist but mirror those that have already existed, mainly the false theology of theological liberalism. Understand Emerging Church Theology is a bundle of three books representing his best selling work as a former Emergent insider and historical theologian. Jeremy Bouma (ThM) has spent a decade ministering among our postmodern culture, first in Washington D.C. and most recently in Grand Rapids, MI. He is a pastor-theologian in West Michigan and founder of THEOKLESIA, a hyperlocal idea curator dedicated to helping the 21st century West Michigan church rediscover the historic Christian faith. He holds the Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and is also the author of "the (un)offensive gospel of Jesus" and "PRAYERS FOR MY CITY: A Fixed-Hour Prayer Guide For Grand Rapids." He lives in the city with his wife, Melinda.
