About this eBook

Freshly sprung from the Marines, Griffin Powell is looking for some fun. Las Vegas offers the perfect playground to blow off some steam before getting to the serious work of deciding what to do with his life. He never expects that fun to include the high school crush who tutored him years ago.

Samantha Ferguson arrives in Vegas for a friend's wedding only to get dumped by text. Desperate not to be the only single in a sea of couples, she makes an impulsive offer to the former bad boy she used to tutor in high school: Be her fake boyfriend for the weekend.

Griff knows he's not the guy for Sam, but he can't resist saying yes for the chance to get to know this grown-up version of the girl who once starred in all his dreams. Turns out, there's not a lot of faking it involved. Between the single bed and the endless couples activities, new feelings flare from the old, until they both fall under the spell of Sin City.

Will what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas? Or will one impulsive weekend be the start of a brand new forever?

*NOTE TO READERS: This is a prequel novella and does not end with a HEA or HFN. Their story continues in COME A LITTLE CLOSER.

This is a great book and I almost wish I read it after I read Sam & Griffin's story but when one of Kait's books land in my lap I can't help myself. I think Until we Meet Again touches at the heart of every romantic. What would you do if you found the person you had a crush on at school felt the same? To find yourselves both single, both in Vegas for the weekend what else is there to do but to act upon those feelings, no strings attached, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But what if there are strings, what if there are truths told, what if there is a trip to an all night chapel, what if...... This book is going to leave you salivating for Come A Little Closer, don't say you haven't been warned. Oh and there's no happy ending, but a very very nice beginning to a story yet to be told. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Until we meet again is about a second chance for a relationship that started when they were teenagers in high school and too shy to believe one could be interested in the other. Then fate put them together and the unbelievable happens - they find themselves tied together and happy! However, none of them knew what they intended to do with their lives in the future, they still had too many life questions unanswered. What will happen to them? Will fate put them together again? We have to read the next book in the series to learn what happens! A simple but good plot, well put together, and entertaining. I hate cliffhangers. I knew this was a cliffhanger. The author was very upfront and honest about it being a prequel novella AND a cliffhanger. But, I read it anyway. Samantha and Griffin reconnected with such ease. I could tell from the very beginning Griffin was going to be the idiot here. I could understand his feelings on some level, but there is that strange and wonderful thing called communication. His actions seemed a little heartless to me. Especially considering the way they connected while in Vegas. I am looking forward to the next book, just to see how hard Griffin will have to work in order to redeem himself. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book received via Booksprout.
