About the author
Usch Kiausch lebt und arbeitet in Mannheim und in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. An der Universität Heidelberg studierte sie Soziologie, Politische Wissenschaft und neuere Geschichte (Magister). Nach einem Verlagsvolontariat und Rundfunkpraktikum ist sie seit mehr als drei Jahrzehnten als freie Kulturjournalistin, Verlagslektorin, literarische Übersetzerin und Autorin tätig. Seit 1997 übersetzte sie 45 Romane und 14 Anthologien aus dem Englischen und Amerikanischen, u. a. für den Heyne Verlag, Spektrum Akademischer Verlag, den Verlag Ullstein List und den Festa Verlag.
