Internacionalmente reconocido como erudito de la Biblia y patriarca espiritual, Derek Prince (1915–2003) cursó sus estudios de idiomas clásicos en Eton College y Cambridge University en Inglaterra, y más adelante en Hebrew University en Israel. Mientras servía con el ejército británico en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, comenzó a estudiar la Biblia como una obra  filosófica y, como resultado, experimentó un encuentro transformador con Jesucristo.
Derek Prince enseñó y ministró en seis continentes durante casi sesenta años, impartiendo la verdad revelada de Dios, orando por los enfermos y los afligidos, y compartiendo sus perspectivas proféticas sobre los acontecimientos del mundo a la luz de la Escritura. Internationally recognized as a Bible scholar and spiritual patriarch, Derek Prince (1915–2003) was educated as a scholar of classical languages at Eton College and Cambridge University in England and later at Hebrew University, Israel. While in the British Medical Corps during World War II, Prince began to study the Bible as a philosophical work and had a transformational encounter with Jesus Christ.
Derek taught and ministered on six continents for almost sixty years, imparting the revealed truth of God, praying for the sick and afflicted, and sharing their prophetic perspectives on the events of the world in the light of Scripture. He wrote over eighty books, which have been translated into more than one hundred languages. He pioneered teaching on such groundbreaking themes as generational curses, the biblical significance of Israel, and demonology.
Derek Prince Ministries, with its international headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, continues the good work that God began in him and through him, distributing his teachings and training missionaries, church leaders, and congregations through his global network of offices.
