Leurs écrits sont aussi bien la voix du "pampino" laissant derrière lui les ruines de son village devenu fantôme, qu'un cri de combat lancé au dictateur, ou le chant du ruisseau d'une oasis aux vergers parfumés. Leur oeuvre étant peu connue en français, l'auteure a voulu contribuer à ce manque par cette brève anthologie de poèmes et de proses choisies.
