V.C. Andrews certainly knew how to drag you in like a car accident you can't look away from; you feel compelled to find out what happens... From the series of Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Wind takes you on the next journey in life after trauma and the need for revenge.

I was genuinely disappointed with Petals on the Wind considering Flowers In The Attic was such a fantastic book. The plot was unorganized and after reading this novel, I wouldn't waste my money to read the next book. Almost every chapter had vulgar content and unnecessarily dramatic scenes. The dialogue made little to no sense and the characters were poorly written. The author turned Cathy into a some kind of flirt who was willing to give her body as "payment" to the man that took care of her even though she was fresh out of the attic and incredibly jumpy around strangers. Everything about her was out of character. Overall, this was not a good read. Save your money and just be content with Flowers in the Attic. I truly wish I would have never read this monstrosity disguised as a book.

I really enjoyed flowers in the attic was gripped from the first page. this however was very dissapointing. Maybe I shouldn't comment cause I didn't finish the book but I didn't finish it cause I was just not into it and it seemed like a completely different "vibe" from flowers in the attic. the second star is giving it the benefit of the doubt. If you read this before starting this book. be content with flowers in the attic
