I am not one for thrilling adventure of assassins and the like- but this little peach might've changed my mind.. I wasn't too keen on the type-o's, however. A more precise editor- such as myself- would be an improvement.

5 Stars from Sammy's Book Obsession! (Included in Red Hot Obsessions) WOW, for starters! I loved this book so much! I'm glad I didn't read the synopsis before I started this book because I probably wouldn't have given it a second look. I am soooo glad that I DID give it a chance though! So glad! Slow Burn is a mix of Romance and maybe Sci-Fi or Fantasy...maybe? It's actually probably more realistic than we know with the technology and knowledge out there now though. So, maybe not Sci-Fi/Fantasy at all...who knows. Anyway, I fell absolutely in love with the two main characters and could not put this book down! The author, V.J./Jove Chambers, wrote this book incredibly well. Her characters are beyond well developed and I feel like they are real people who I know personally. The love story aspect of this book is extremely original. I've personally never read a love story anything at all like Slow Burn. Although, I read this book as a part of Red Hot Obsessions and it was smack in between several of the other books included, I stopped reading after Slow Burn and bought it's sequel! That one is amazing as well, but that's for another review... V.J./Jove Chambers and the Assassins series have landed themselves on my Favorites List without a doubt! I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

This book is like no other book, because it doesn't end the way that you would expect. It is filled with suspense that will definitely keep your imagination going into overdrive trying to complete the basis of the outcome.
