सुप्रसिद्ध आणि सिद्धहस्त लघुनिबंधकार अनंत काणेकर यांचा वि.स. खांडेकरांनी संपादित केलेला हा छोटासा लघुनिबंध-संग्रह. आपल्याला प्रिय असलेल्या व्यक्तीचे अथवातत्त्वाचे वैगुण्य - वीक पॉर्ईंट- निबंधकार सुखासुखी मान्य करणार नाही. मात्र लघुनिबंधकार त्या वैगुण्याची मनमोकळेपणानं मीमांसा करु शकतो. निबंधकार हा वक्त्यासारखा असतो. व्याख्याता कितीही प्रामाणिक असला, तरी मनातल्या सर्वच गोष्टी काही त्याला व्यासपीठावरुन बोलून दाखविता येत नाहीत. उलट, लघुनिबंधकार हा खासगी बैठकीतल्या संभाषकासारखा असतो. त्यामुळं त्याला कुठलीही गोष्ट आपल्या वाचकांपासून लपविण्याची आवश्यकता वाटत नाही. श्री. काणेकर कुठल्याही गोष्टीकडे केवळ कल्पनेच्या दुर्बिणीतून पाहत नाहीत. अनुभवाच्या सूक्ष्मदर्शक यंत्रातून तिचं निरीक्षण करीत असतात. त्यामुळं त्यांच्या लघुनिबंधांना बोरांसारखी आबंटगोड लज्जत येते.This is a short eassy collection of renown author Anant Kanekar edited by V.S.Khandekar.
