Valentine Dmitriev has a Ph. D.in Education. She is the author of eleven books and the founder of a program at the University of Washington for young children with disabilities. Dr. Dmitriev has given lectures in forty American cities and in eleven foreign countries. Stolen Bride is her fourth novel.
