'Vance' is the sixth and final book in Kathi S. Barton's "The McCade Dragon" series and OMG if you haven't read this series you have no idea what you're missing. The phenomenal storyline of Vance and Micky's journey is so gripping and mesmerizing that there are parts that literally took my breath away. The final showdown with Butler is here, Caelin has done everything within his power to keep everyone protected and brought together. Vance has found all five of the trackers in his body, with a little help, and who was in charge of keeping track of him and his whereabouts. You won't believe who it is and what they've been up to! Speaking of which, Vance finds himself in a situation he desperately needs to get out of, and once again Caelin comes to the rescue when he delivers Micky into the room right before Vance arrives. Both have strong personalities, both warriors in their own right, him a dragon, and her a faerie. It absolutely melted my heart to follow the journey these two took. Vance was the one I worried about the most and Ms. Barton told their story beautifully.
