About the author
Born in Gadsden, Alabama, she wrote poetry as a teenager, from experiences in her life. By the age of nineteen, publishing a book crossed her mind, but it never materialized. After receiving her high school diploma from Gadsden High School, she entered into college at Jacksonville State University, in which she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, and a minor in Management. She also graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. And years later, she graduated from Alabama A&M University with a Master’s in Education in Business Education. She is an author/poet, bookkeeper, and jeweler maker. She also owns and manages Austin’s Bookkeeping Service and CABBIT Designs (Cedric Andre’ Brian Branded It), all based in Harvest, Alabama, as well as where she presently resides. After working sixteen years with Redstone Arsenal, for the federal government, in various organizations, she was released from the last position. Although she rates her last position as a treacherous nightmare, she realizes her imminent departure from that position was a disguised blessing, availing her the opportunity to reach others in a higher fashion. Thus, she is more accessible for His cause and purpose. God allowed her dependence on Him to increase in a way, one can only understand through personal experience. And now she is here to tell others to “Live On.” Let us refer to Psalms 46:1 and 7 (NCV) “God is our protection and our strength. He always helps in times of trouble. The Lord All-Powerful is with us; the God of Jacob is our defender.” "Live On" is further dedicated to those who might be down to the core. But know that with God’s grace, He will supply us with much, much more.
