About this ebook

The book is a collection of poems dealing with various themes, emotions, and mental states, the overarching, unifying idea being weariness. Boredom may involve other people or a repetition of similar instances, but true boredom always involves the self. As others have noted, one can never escape the self therefore, boredom always seems to follow the weary soul. Boredom may become a state of mind or even a state of being that is very difficult to escape. But there is also languor which turns weariness into a rather pleasant state. The poems try to deliniate some of these subtleties.
