This book was phenomenal and pulled me in immediately! Sometimes it takes a few chapters before I'm interested in a book, but this one was different. This book isn't for everyone, as it has description of child abuse and sexual content, so BEWARE in case that will bother you. I HIGHLY recommend reading this one. Just when I thought I might know what's going on, BOOM, CoHo throws a curveball and I'm left in pure shock. I listened to the audiobook, and both of the narrators did a wonderful job. I will definitely be purchasing a hardback copy of this book for my bookshelf with my favorite books. Well done CoHo!!!

Good Storyline, but Too Many Explicit Scenes. I really enjoyed the suspenseful plot and unexpected twists—this story kept me turning the pages and wanting to know what would happen next. That said, I found the number of intimate, explicit scenes to be excessive and unnecessary. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the detailed content felt out of place and took away from the thriller aspect of the story. I would have preferred a cleaner version that focused more on the psychological tension and mystery. I'm giving it 3 stars for the plot, which I think has the potential to be adapted into a great movie. It would have been a 5 for me if it had toned down the mature content.

The worst book I have ever read, I thought the hype around Colleen hoover actually meant something, but it is just a whole lot of pornography. I am disappointed that this is the best that someone can write as well as the fact that it was passed by her publishing company to be created is an embarrassment. This is a waste of trees, do not read it please. I beg you.
