About the author
Imraan Coovadia ist in Durban, Südafrika geboren, studierte in Yale, lebte abwechselnd in New York und Durban und lehrt heute an der University of Cape Town Literaturwissenschaft und creative writing. Für seinen dritten Roman »High Low In-Between« (2009), dt.: »Gezeitenwechsel« (Wunderhorn, 2011), erhielt er 2010 den University of Johannesburg Prize und den Sunday Times Fiction Prize.
