About this ebook

Do you know what you’ve done?

I’ve sunken my teeth into a story that could make my career—an exposé on the most powerful man in the city.

A vicious attack fails to deter my ambitions, but it brings Detective Sebastian Reed into my life. He’s steely and magnetic, and determined to keep me safe.

Except there is no safe.

Only stolen moments, secrets and lies.

And a tinder box of an attraction, waiting to ignite.

Every touch is a reckless diversion, because out in the night a hooded figure plots his revenge.

Do you know what you’ve done?

I don’t.

But someone’s determined to make me pay for it with my life.

3.5 stars I can honestly say I didn't see it coming. She's being stalked. She's being toyed with. She seems to have an admirer. When she gets attacked, she thinks it has to do with her newest article. How do you avoid voicing your suspicions but lead the cops where you think they should go? Well, if one is attractive...things could become reckless. Surprised by the bad guy, thrilled by the good. This novel will keep you entertained until the end. Just do me a favor...watch your back! reviewed for the Sweet Spot Sisterhood

Amelia found herself in desperate straits as a news reporter. She had dreams to be on assignment with the New York Times rather than the San Diego Tribune where she worked. Being attacked in the Tribune's parking lot put her world in a spin. Why? SDPD detectives O'Brien and Reed had this case. What unexplainables continued to happen to keep Amelia on edge? Were the detectives solving the mystery? Spurred by an offer to seek lessons in self-defense, she turns to Reed for help.
