Of course this ticks Donovan off because he thought they a great connection. Fast forward one year. Autumn has to go down to the police station to get Storm, one of her case worker kids and who is the lawyer sent to help her by her boyfriend.....Donovan! Yep...Donovan works for her boyfriend! Donovan sees this chance meeting as a second chance and he is going to do everything in his power to win Autumn over. As Autumn and Donovan spend more time together because of Storm, she realizes that Donovan is not at all like she first thought. He is so much better. The more Donovan shows her of his life, the harder she is falling. Just when it looks like Autumn and Donovan are getting their happy ending, the past comes crashing in. It will take a lot of soul searching and confronting her past for Autumn to finally get her happy ending with Donovan. I loved the super sexy The Spark by Vi Keeland. I just adored Donovan. I loved how he turned into a wonderful person despite his past, but he was still tied to to things in his past in positive ways. He truly has a heart of gold. I really respected Autumn. I cannot imagine having to deal with all she went through, but she came out of it a stronger person. I really enjoyed watching her and Donovan fall so hard and get their perfect ending. I highly recommend this wonderful story.

5 star Review The Spark by Vi Keeland I was riveted to the story that Vi Keeland wove from the first to the last chapter. The Spark was well written, entertaining and a book that had me smiling throughout my read. From the moment that Donovan and Autumn meet the chemistry and sparks flew and I just knew that we were in for a fabulous story. Despite their chemistry being off the charts, Autumn leaves knowing that her life is too complicated for a relationship with Donovan. Fast forward and Autumn is shocked to find out that her new boyfriend is none other than Donovan’s boss, the man she has never quite forgotten, so what’s a girl to do? The Spark was so much fun, with plenty of heart, steam and witty banter that I spent a great deal of the time laughing out loud or swooning. It was wonderful to watch their relationship develop and I found myself cheering for Donovan and Autumn. This was a book that I had a hard time putting down. I adored these characters, they were just so easy to relate too and you cannot help but become invested in their second chance at love story.
