About this ebook

I left him once. Fate just put him in my path again, and this time he owns the town.

Maddie ran out of road three miles past the Virgin Cove sign. Broken CRV. Sleeping daughter in the back seat. A black eye she keeps telling herself is the last one, because she finally had the nerve to leave Bob for good. Then a black Range Rover pulls over, and the man who climbs out is the boy she kissed at sixteen — now a trillionaire who owns half the tech industry.

Arman Norouzi has spent a decade pretending he didn't drive past this exit every time he flew home. He never got over her. He won't let her mother, her ex, or her own bone-deep belief that she's broken take her away from him again.

He offers her a job. A safe house. A future for her daughter.

All she has to do is survive the man who swore she'd never leave.

Second chance. Protective billionaire. Single mom. Domestic-abuse survivor HEA. Teenage first kiss grown up.

FL was a little annoying, she was just very repetitive and kept denying her feelings for ML. She also basically used him for s*x at first knowing he was in love with her, which was kept of messed up in my opinion. It was kinda hard to finish this book but at least it had an ok ending.

This book arrived in my library and I could not switch off until it was finished. Loved it and can't wait for more volumes to come.
