I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read with all the appropriate twists and turns. It is a coming home again story which brings back great memories of my mother. Although I have never been to Texas, Vicki Walton describes scenery vividly so that I can envision the farm, the house, the fields and the stream.

A very cute book, a little scary. I had a good time reading it.
