I enjoyed this book. I took off a star because 1) reading the "Belladonna" preview is a MUST before reading this book and I REALLY don't like to be forced to sign up for a newsletter to get the prequel. I'll buy it, but that wasn't an option here; and 2) the book is a bit "jerky" in that it doesn't always flow smoothly. That being said, while it is pure fantasy, it was a good story; 3) the 2nd book doesn't come up when you click on "series." You have to go search it out. that needs to be fixed.

Growing up rural Wisconsin, she spent a lot of time roaming the woods and fantasizing about new places.
