Through her poems the poetess Bratati Bhattacharyya has conveyed to the readers an idea of recreating a new world of peace, amity, and friendship… a close affinity with nature. She has completed her schooling from Shibpur Bhabani Balika Bidyalaya, Howrah; Higher Secondary education from St. Paul's College, Kolkata. Her honours is in English Literature, completed graduation from Bethune College under Calcutta University; then Post Graduation in English Literature from University of Calcutta- Senate House. She has achieved a B.Ed. degree from Howrah Girls College, under Calcutta University. Her area of interest is 'How to use English Literature for the sake of Humanity'. The genre Poetry invites her the most. She has devoted herself to the world of Academics for the last 40 years almost.
