The Duke's Christmas Rejection by Vivian Murdoch is the prequel to the Seven Omegas for Seven Alpha's series. It was also in the anthology Knotty or Nice. This book combines my two favorite tropes; a historical regency and an Omegaverse romance. If this is the first book you are reading by Vivian Murdoch, please read her warning at the beginning of her books. Her books are original, super duper spicy, and have the perfect mix of action, drama and mystery.

This is the first historical romance by Ms. Murdoch, and pure joy from beginning to end. It's full of angst, heat, and drama, and I love the combination of HR and OV. It's so original. Cynthia is shy and sweet, and may not be part of the right social class to be worthy of James. James is all Alpha and he can try to deny their connection, but it won't be denied forever.

Good, but a very abrupt ending.
