About this ebook

A serial killer is murdering women, and substitute teacher Kinsey is worried a missing young student has become his next victim. People are keeping secrets and she'll stop at nothing to get answers. Her search could cost her everything, but with a girl's life on the line, no risk is too great.

Detective Nolan hunts the killer, and new leads are pointing fingers at other officers on the force. But his law enforcement brothers don't like him poking around in their business. He'll have to cross the thin blue line to get answers, but the whole department might turn on him for daring to suggest they be held accountable. While they're distracted, the killer is after a new victim.

I don’t even know what to think at the end of this book. It reveals some things I had already suspected, but then there are all kinds of disclosures that have thrown me for an absolute loop. I don’t even want to try to guess where the author is going to take this next. I’m just going to wait (im)patiently for the rest of the series to find out what it all means. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

We now know who the murderer is, which I guessed right. The secrets are starting to come out. Kinsey is still looking for Quinn, which is making me wonder, where is she and what is up with her? Good to see Kinsey and Nolan finally seeing each other. The story is now all coming together but can't wait for the next book, to get more reveals....

Kinsey is still looking for the missing student. She is wary of Chandler after seeing Quinn's artwork. Detective Nolan is hunting the serial killer but is stepping on follow officer's toes. Waiting for the next installment.
