About this ebook

From USA Today bestselling author W Winters comes a emotionally-gripping, standalone, romantic suspense.

I didn’t need anyone to tell me; I knew he was forbidden with a single glance.

He was a boy I should’ve been afraid of, and definitely a boy I should’ve never wanted.  No matter how much neither of those statements were true.

From the first time I saw him, Sebastian had a hard stare that pinned me in place.  And years later, it hasn’t softened.

We lived on the same street and went to the same school, although he was a year ahead.

Even so close, he was untouchable.

He was bad news and I was the sad girl who didn’t belong.

One night changed everything.

We both had secrets.  We both saw the pain in each other’s eyes.

The gaze that gave me chills turned to a lust-filled haze that heated every inch of me.

But that didn’t change who he was.  A man who would take everything from me.

I love surprises and this book just up and smacked me upside the head. I wasn’t expecting this book at all but seems like Willow saw fit to help tied us all over till Endless is ready. Willow just shocked the wows out of me when she announced we were getting a looking into the makings of Carter Cross. Of course, I jumped at the chance to see more of Carter and see what made him into the man he is today. I’ve always thought there was some good in him, down in the depths of that tortured soul, and I think I may be right. This story gives us a glimpse of a young Carter Cross, what he endured as a young boy and teenager, and his loyalty to his family, but the story of Sebastian and Chloe is epic in itself. A Kiss to Tell primarily focuses on the relationship of Sebastian and Chloe Rose, but Carter’s friendship and loyalty to Sebastian are at the heart of the makings of the ruthless yet endearing Carter we know and love. Growing up in the same dismal town and the same side of the tracks as Carter, neither Sebastian or Chloe feel safe. Chloe is fraught with the tragic events of her past and present. Sebastian’s protectiveness is always in the forefront, and he can’t stay away, even if it brings her into his world, at least he can protect her. The love and chemistry between these two was beyond imaginable. They had a deep, long-standing love that bloomed at an early age. They cared ever so cautiously for each other and when they took their time to finally show that love to each other, it was explosive and magnificent. This book is one I couldn’t put down. Every page unveils more mystery, secrets, and lies, bringing out the drama and suspense. Each chapter left me with a desire to know more, to find out more. Curiosity got to me right from the start and it never left. Willow kept me guessing on what-was-what and who-was-who throughout the pages. Not even when I knew where the story was going did I really believe it; not until I read the very last words. My unbelief probably stems from the knowledge I have of the cut-throat characters whom Sebastian works for. They play a huge role in the Merciless series and so I anticipated a lot more suspense and drama in the end. There certainly was a lot of buildup and speculation around the apparently coincidental events surrounding the life of Chloe. Although we do get an answer to what had actually happened, it just seemed to me to end a little too quickly and cleanly. Not the shocking ending I expected having read the Merciless Series. Even though I did feel parts of this story veered away from the plotline I would have expected, this was still a phenomenal story that I devoured, and I really hope we get to see more of this couple in the remainder of the Merciless Series.

Wow! Once again Willow Winters never seizes to amaze me with a story so emotionally captivating as Sebastian and Chloe's was. Two people with similar backgrounds who have suffered most of their young lives at the hands of the ones who should love and care for them. There is a connection neither attempts to acknowledge to the other. Yet they both recognize it. It started in high school and is never discussed again. Five years later Chloe is having a hard time dealing with her past and Sebastian sees that she needs support with it. Sebastian has always looked out for Chloe though she seems to not notice it at times. My heart went out for all that Chloe has been through. This is a beautifully written story that will draw you in and keep you wanting to read their story until the end. I liked how we are able to get a look at Carter Cross from the Merciless series, and see what may cause him to be the man he is now. I also enjoyed seeing how Sebastian is slowly revealed to the readers who may think him as a dark and broken man and yet as the story continues you come to understand why he makes the choices he feels he must and that deep down he cares deeply for the people who mean the most to him and will do what he needs to do to help. I would love to see more of Sebastian and Chloe in the coming future

A KISS TO TELL STIRS EMOTIONS & SIZZLES WITH PASSION; The story is loaded with suspense, action, secrets, a bit of humor, true love, sensuous toe-curling romance, and a well deserved happily ever after. Once I started reading I was hooked; a true page-turner I could not put down until I knew the end. Crescent Hills holds secrets, horrific danger, and is the home to Chloe Rose and Sebastian. Chloe's past plagues her dreams and daily life. Sebastian is feared by most who know him. They know each other from school; the forbidden love. Sebastian made a vow to always protect Chloe from the evil that lies hidden in Crescent Hills. Hurdles are faced before their HEA. FANTASTIC well-written read by a truly gifted author. The characters spring to life with powerful vivid scene descriptions. I felt every word and was thrilled by their ending. The author does a fabulous job showing how much Chloe and Sebastian are devoted to each other; loved them together. I relished this story and {of my own volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced copy. Without hesitation, I recommend this read.

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
