Disappointed in this. It read like a really really long prolong or teaser even. Which means it ended unresolved, and I'll call it close enough to a cliffhanger to add that tag. The writing was a little drab, but the story had so much potential! I liked the flipping perspectives. I didn't like that the characters were so young. As if a guy barely 21 could take over the local mob and be the leader. It just doesn't seem plausible, I know it's make believe but it's just too unbelievable.

this book was so good that I would rate it more than five stars,I'm glad that Seth and Laura had a story,it's so good can't put it down shed tears,so far my favorite. these deserve a happy ending!Well on to book two of this series. I'm so happy that i came across this author she has knock of some of my authors to reach my top shelf! Keep it up! Thank You for all the great stories!

Haven’t been able to pick up a book and actually read the whole thing through since 2017 . Now in 2023, this will the first one ! That i actually enjoyed. One thing I love most about a good book is the explicit dialogue. Although I enjoyed that, it would’ve been nice to get a chapter or two of Derricks and Cami’s pov as you did Laura’s & Seth’s. But over all your book was a 10/10 !
