The hero of this Novel is Kacharu and heroin is his wife Anandi. Both are engaged with farming in Vidarbha Region of Maharashtra, where large numbers of farmer’s suicides have occurred since starting point of globalization and open Economic system in the race of arithmetic development. The writer has enumerated changes in globalization and open Economic system and system relates in day to day life of poor farmers. Other related characters’ included are relatives of farmer, Money Lender, Trader, Broker, Political Leader, Reporter, and Government Organizations such as Bank, Electric Department, Revenue Authority. The writer has written on the life of former very sensitively, which is very interested. This Novel gives a new and unknown subjects to the Hindi Language readers.
“वामनावतार” – बलीराजाको कुचलनेवाली व्यवस्था- भानुदास जिवणे द्वारा लिखित यह उपन्यास भारतके सर्वहारा और बेहद दुर्लक्षित किसानोके प्रती बेहद संवेदनशीलताकी मिसाल है, जो अन्य कोई भी उपन्यासमे नहीं मिलेगी।
इस उपन्यासका नायक कचरु नामक एक किसान है और नायिका आनंदी नामक एक किसान की पत्नी है। ये दोनों वैश्वीकरण और खुली अर्थव्यवस्था की शुरवाती दौर से लेकर आजतक गणिती प्रगति की होड के चलते देशमे सबसे जादा अत्महत्या करनेवाले महाराष्ट्रके विदर्भ प्रदेशमे किसानी करते है। लेखक ने वैश्वीकरण और खुली अर्थव्यवस्था के दौर मे होनेवाले बदलाव और किसानोसे जुड़ी व्यवस्था से किसानोकी जीवनमे आनेवाले बदलाव की पड़ताल उनके जीवन व्यवहारोके बहाने की है। इनसे जुड़े अन्य चरित्र जैसे किसान के रिश्तेदार, महाजन, व्यापारी, दलाल, राजनेता, पत्रकार और सरकारी संस्थान जैसे बैंक, बिजली निगम, तहसील के व्यवहार भी शामिल है। लेखकने किसानोके जीवन के प्रती संवेदनशीलता से उपन्यासका ताना-बाना बुना है, जो बेहद दिलचस्प है। यह उपन्यास अपने ओरसे हिन्दी पाठकोको अनोखा और नया विषय देता है।

The author born on 14th Aug 1954 in one of the village in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra. He has completed his education up to post-graduation in Economics at Dr. Babasahab Ambedakar Mrathawada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. After serving up to 35 years in bank, retired as Senior Manager. Being Banker he was related to Rural and Agricultural lending Department for 30 years. Born in farmer’s family, having ancestral Agricultural land he relates to the problems of Rural and agriculturist very closely. He is very sensitive about problem of farmers in India and has lots of related experience.
लेखक का जनम 14 अगस्त 1954 मे महाराष्ट्रके यवतमाल जिलेके एक देहातमे हुआ है। उन्होने डा॰ बाबासाहाब आंबेडकर मराठवाडा विद्यापीठ मे अर्थशास्त्र मे अपनी स्नातक तक की पढ़ाई पूरी की। बैंक मे पैतीस बरस तक सेवा कर वरिष्ठ प्रबंधक के पदसे निवृत हुये है। वे स्वयं किसान के घर पैदा हुये पेशेसे बैंक मे अधिकारी- ग्रामीण और कृषी ऋण विभागसे से पुरे तीस बरस जुड़े रहे। उनकी पुश्तैनी खेती होनेसे पूरी हयात ही वे ग्रामीण, किसान और खेतीसे संबन्धित समस्यासे जुड़े रहे। किसान कि समस्या के प्रती बेहद संवेदनशील होनेके साथ साथ लेखक के पास विषय से संबंधित अनुभवो का भंडार है।
